However, the proliferation of online interactions has also contributed to the decline of face-to-face communication. Many young people now opt for online relationships over real-world connections, leading to feelings of isolation and loneliness. These virtual friendships often lack the depth and emotional connection that face-to-face interactions provide.

In conclusion, technology has changed relationships by connecting people across geographical boundaries and shared interests. I regard this as a largely positive development, since these connections create opportunities that would otherwise be unavailable. Maintaining regular personal contact can help preserve the benefits while limiting the risk of isolation.
