Some people believe that hobbies need to be difficult to be enjoyable. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Some hobbies are relatively simple, while others present more of a challenge. Personally, I believe that both types of hobbies can be enjoyable, and I therefore disagree with the statement that hobbies must be difficult to be fun.
On the one hand, many people derive pleasure from easy hobbies. For instance, swimming is an activity that is easy for most people to enjoy. It requires little equipment, is simple to learn, and is low-cost. I remember learning how to swim at my local pool as a child, and the experience was never overly demanding or stressful. Similarly, photography is another hobby that can be both accessible and enjoyable. In my view, anyone can capture interesting photos without needing to understand all the technical details of a camera. Despite its simplicity, photography remains a satisfying and rewarding activity.
On the other hand, more difficult hobbies can sometimes offer a greater sense of accomplishment. When an activity is challenging, the sense of achievement upon mastering it can be immensely gratifying. For example, film editing is a hobby that demands considerable expertise. It took me two years to become proficient in this skill, but the sense of enjoyment has increased as I improved. I believe that many hobbies provide more satisfaction when one reaches a higher level of competence, as the results become more impressive and the feeling of success is more pronounced.
In conclusion, while simple hobbies can be fun and relaxing, difficult hobbies can also be equally pleasurable, offering a different kind of satisfaction due to the effort and achievement they require.
can be enjoyable比are always enjoyable准确;个人经历可作相关例子。
Difficult hobbies are enjoyable, so all hobbies must be difficult.”
Challenging hobbies can be rewarding, but difficulty is not a necessary condition for enjoyment.
Some people think exercise must be competitive to be enjoyable. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
